Inspired by her surroundings, what people say, do and leave, thoughts. Often the characters and objects in her work are experimenting with everyday life, they try to escape from the habit. For example, they take a nap in a shopping cart, wish to become a plant, vacuum cleaners take on a life of their own. In addition to her signature line drawings, Jessie also makes lino prints and embroidered works. There are also riso prints and digital prints of her illustrations.
