About LA FERME DU BAS ROTEUX

From the farm to the local grocery store. Located in the village of Rosière-la-Petite, commune of Vaux-sur-Sûre in the province of Belgian Luxembourg, “la Ferme du Bas Roteux” is a family farm, from father to son, growing organic cereals, mainly spelled, oats, barley and wheat. In September 2017, our new project was born. We want to promote the development of our region by stimulating a local economy based on the short circuit and thus safeguard and promote local organic agriculture, respectful of the environment and a healthy diet. Our spelled grain is processed in our workshops on our natural stone mill and we therefore market white and wholemeal flour, small bran, as well as pearl spelled. We make pasta with our organic spelled flour and organic eggs in our own workshops. Our pasta comes in various shapes and tastes, such as tomato, spinach, pesto, beetroot or Espelette pepper. We pack in bags of 1.3 or 5 kg for flours, and 500gr for pasta. All our products are also available in bulk. Read their story
