¡Wepa! is 100% single origin Puerto Rican Arabica grown at 2000+ feet in the Island's Central Mountains. We are committed to highlighting and bringing awareness to the quality of pure Puerto Rican coffee and helping reestablish Puerto Rico's reputation as a world-class coffee producer. Known for centuries as the "Coffee of Popes and Kings", several economic and environmental disasters curtailed Puerto Rico's coffee production in the 1900s. Thus, little to no high-quality Puerto Rican coffee makes it to the US. That presents a special opportunity for ¡Wepa! to bring something new and exotic to coffee lovers, while doing our part to uplift the coffee industry in Puerto Rico as a whole. Hand-picked, sorted and medium+ roasted for versatility, ¡Wepa! is delicious in any form! ¡Wepa! (weh-pah): a multilayered expression used often by Puerto Ricans to express excitement and celebration among friends. Fist pump and cheers optional, but encouraged. "Wepaaa!”
