About Frolic Maine

I founded Frolic Maine with a vision to create jewelry that is meaningful, beautiful, and deeply personal. Drawing inspiration from nature both light and dark, along with a sprinkle of whimsy, I aim to craft pieces that resonate with the soul. My passion for jewelry, particularly earrings, has always been strong. However, a severe metal allergy prevented me from wearing them. This challenge fueled my desire to design a collection that caters not only to my needs but also to those with sensitivities. Every earring in our collection, be it a dangle or a stud, features metal-free hooks. This ensures that even the most sensitive individuals can enjoy our pieces without discomfort. Pieces are all hand painted on laser engraved and cut wood, making them very lightweight and uniquely one of a kind. I don't tend to repeat color schemes, but I am open to it if requested. All items ordered will vary in color unless specified by the customer. Read their story
