About Bellflower Girl

My name is Rebecca and I am the owner of Bellflower Girl, LLC, located in Edmond, OK. About a dozen years ago I began offering for sale my watercolor art combined with inspirational quotes on greeting cards in a small Oklahoma boutique. That one pivotal decision brought many unexpected changes into my life and the journey onward became an exciting one. I dreamed of creating beautiful cards that were both simple and lovely. However, it took the unexpected death of my talented mother to help guide me along. When I said 'I couldn't' she said 'I could!' When my mother was a young girl she moved from the Midwest and settled in what was then a small California town, called Bellflower. It was there her talent bloomed. Ultimately she fell in love and married my late father and started a family. For as long as I can remember my mom struggled to merge incredible artistic talent with profound deafness. As her hearing loss worsened, she pressed on. She committed herself to a life of joy even though her trials were real, life-altering and often isolating. Her life was sometimes tough. Ultimately filled with grace and song, her example helped mold me into the woman of faith I am today. And so, it is to her, my beautiful “Bellflower Girl”, I lovingly dedicate this adventure. She was my teacher, encourager, my inspiration. I miss her terribly. I hope in some small way I’m making her proud! Thank you for visiting! I so appreciate you being here!
