Sustainably and fairly produced products are very important to us. No matter how sustainably a product can be produced, the entire balance sheet diminishes if the product only has a short life cycle and has to be replaced by a newly produced one. That is why we develop high-quality products with a long life cycle. All BMS products are certified according to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® — Category 1 and are absolutely PFC free. Product development and products: Our functional clothing is developed where children are out and about: in the predator forest, on the playground, in the garden and on the street. In doing so, we carefully observe what disturbs children about feeling comfortable and moving freely. Contrary to the lavish, short-lived “fast fashion” trends, we do not produce constantly changing collections. BMS fashion from the World Heritage Site “Hamburg Speicherstadt” timeless in design, very hard-wearing, ideally matched to its use and therefore particularly durable. Our colors are harmoniously coordinated and can be combined across collections and seasons. We select materials based on feel, appearance and above all functionality, always keeping an eye on the latest developments, of course. We generally prefer uncomplicated fabrics that are washable, repel dirt and water, dry quickly or have other practical benefits.
