The Woblong® Double-Wing Flyer Brand Story In the early 1990s, inventor Miro Bouchakian spotted a cardboard ring from a rice cooker and imagined a new kind of flying toy. Early prototypes were unpredictable, so he hired a U.S. Air Force General and aerodynamics expert to perfect the design. The result was the patented Woblong® Double-Wing Flyer — two interlocking rings with a hybrid helicopter–bi-plane flight, easy to throw yet thrilling to master. Woblong® quickly became an iconic outdoor toy, sold in thousands of stores nationwide. Decades later, Miro and his wife have relaunched it under Rival Flyer Inc., made in the USA, protected by a utility patent, and now designed for ages 8+. More versions, including models for ages 6+, are coming soon. Woblong® offers more airlift, more ways to catch, and vivid spinning colors that make every throw exciting.
