About Mind the trash

My name is Catarina and I am a founding partner of Mind The Trash, along with my colleague, Christian Andersen, Dane. We met in London and it was there that Mind The Trash emerged, initially only as a personal Instagram account, where it shared tips for a less wasteful lifestyle. In 2017, when we moved to Lisbon, we decided to create the online store, the first at national level to start its fight against plastic and to promote a more conscious and minimalist lifestyle. Because we did not find solutions that we liked in the domestic market, we decided to launch private label products, developed to our liking and always with the thought of reducing waste, both in the purpose of the product and in the manufacturing process. At Mind The Trash we ship our orders using boxes from our suppliers or delivered by customers, having implemented a packaging collection system. We use only paper glue tape that can be recycled together with the boxes and, to pack the products, we use paper that is also delivered by customers or taken advantage of by suppliers.
