The Paintbox was created by Emma Caresimo in 2013. The business started initially as an illustration agency selling artwork to card publishers. Some 5 years later Emma saw a huge gap in the welsh card market and decided to create a small range of Welsh language cards. These were unique as they were made by a Welsh person who knew what we love about Wales. 5 years later, we now have 430 everyday Welsh cards in our collection and 80 christmas. In 2022 we won an award for Welsh in Business and in 2023 we won the Best Welsh Language card Publsiher. Emma studied a degree in printed textile design at Manchester Metropolitan University and a foundation in art at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her career is based in greeting cards spanning over 29 years, with 8 of those spent working at Hallmark cards. In her spare time she loves to paint scenic of Tenby which can also be found in Art prints and greeting cards. Specifically 2 strong ranges the 'Welsh Woolies' and 'Delwyn the Dragon' as well as many family relations birthday and occasion cards. In every design you will find a piece of Wales. We are a family run business, and so proud of what we do. We love all things welsh our collection showcases; welsh landmarks, sheep, dragons, rugby, welsh flags, welsh ladies. People shop with us because they know they’ll find what they’re looking for and we offer a great selection of different styles to suit all tastes. In 2021 we entered into the gifting
