About Avery Reed

Hello! I’m Avery Reed, an illustrator and designer based in midcoast Maine. After 15 years in New York, I moved north in search of a slower pace. Having spent childhood summers in Maine, with generational roots in the area, moving here full-time felt like a return to self and the bourgeoning of a life rooted in creativity, community, and the ebb and flow of the tides. That transition sparked the beginning of my brand: paper goods designed to help people pause, connect, and rediscover the delight of sending thoughtful notes.
 My products are small-batch, eco-friendly, U.S.-made, and crafted with the same enthusiasm my eight-year-old self once built fairy houses and scavenged the rocky coast for seaglass. My customers are thoughtful gift-givers, stationery lovers, old souls, and often urban moms who have left the city for a slower life. My bestsellers include the die-cut sets, Lobster Dinner and Beach Treasures, the berry postcards, especially Blueberries and Strawberries, and the prints of children exploring nature, Curtis Island Light, Garden Walk, and Night Walk in the Woods.
