About Sun Theory

Sun Theory was founded in February 2018 by Megan Althoff in her tiny apartment kitchen in Richmond, VA with the goal to create non-toxic, sustainable candles. All Sun Theory candles are handpoured with 100% natural soy wax, non-toxic, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. Sun Theory offers discounted candle refills to those local to Richmond, VA in effort to reduce waste and encourages folks to reuse their empty candle vessels any way they can. Read their story
