Sun Theory was founded in February 2018 by Megan Althoff in her tiny Richmond, VA apartment kitchen with the goal to create eco-friendly sustainable candles. All Sun Theory candles are handpoured with 100% natural soy wax, non-toxic, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. Sun Theory even offers discounted candle refills to those local to Richmond, VA in effort to reduce waste and encourages folks to reuse their empty candle vessels any way they can. Read their story
