Conchmin is a Latina owned small business, based in Northeastern Colorado. Conchmin offers a wide range of textile based goods from crossbody bags to fabric bookmarks. Their main goals are to offer functional and cute items that are designed and handmade with love and care, and to showcase sewing as skilled work and an art form. Conchmin began as a way for its founder, Minerva, to reconnect with her creativity and share her skills with her community. With over 3 decades of seamstress work under her belt, Minerva brings both skilled craftsmanship and passion to the items she makes! The name “Conchmin” is a combination of part of the name of a woman Minerva admires named Conchita (Conch), and the first 3 letters of her own name (Min). Minerva now runs Conchmin with the help and support of her daughter, Valeria, who is happy to bring her enthusiasm to her moms small business. Minerva began Conchmin with the belief that “el amor sana” which translates to “love heals”, and she hopes that you will be able to take some of that positive intention with you when you support Conchmin.
