The Legendary French Canteen Brand Le Grand Tétras Founded in 1912 in Bellegarde (01 France), the family factory producing household aluminum goods specialized in the early 1950s in outdoor cooking equipment under the brand "Le Grand Tétras." An extensive range of lightweight metal utensils accompanied the post-war quest for freedom, alongside the introduction of paid holidays in 1936. Carried by the iconic red concave canteen, Le Grand Tétras products accompanied hundreds of thousands of French people across several generations.
