I grew up in the Czech Republic, spending my childhood outdoors and imagining a future as a teacher. But as I moved through university, I began to question whether that path was truly mine—or simply familiar. So I chose to listen to the quieter, more curious part of myself, the part that wondered "What if life could look different?" That question led me across Scotland’s rugged hills, Slovenia’s forests, Spain’s pilgrimage path, New Zealand’s wild landscapes, and eventually to Canada, where I live now. The journey wasn’t always easy, but each step forward taught me patience, trust, and the courage to let dreams grow slowly. Mountain Mornings was born from those small, brave “what ifs.” What if I draw my own logo? What if I share my art online? What if I do a craft market? What if I open a shop? And every “what if” opened a new door. Mountain Mornings today is a purpose-driven brand inspired by the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Based in British Columbia, I create nature-inspired illustrations and transform them into high-quality, sustainable products—from apparel to greeting cards, art prints, and accessories. I focus on thoughtful storytelling, mindful creation, and high-quality craftsmanship.
