About Clay & Alchemy

Born from my love of creating things that bring joy and meaning, Clay & Alchemy is an extension of my lifelong passion for handmade artistry. Creativity runs in my family, my mother, an artist in more ways than one, passed down her love for making and inspired me to see the magic in the everyday. After navigating a deep postpartum depression, I knew I needed something that was just for me. Like many moms in 2020, I started with a Cricut, experimenting with vinyl. But I craved something more intentional, something handmade and sustainable, rather than just another product in the endless cycle of consumerism. That desire led me to room sprays, simmer pot kits, and ultimately, clay. Fast forward to today, and I am both a novice potter and a seasoned alchemist, focused on creating non-toxic home and body goods. My goal is to offer high-quality, simple alternatives to mainstream products, pieces you can feel good about bringing into your home with purpose. A few years into this journey, I’m still just as excited every time I discover a new recipe or technique to try. Motherhood is a role I cherish, but I was afraid of losing myself in it. Returning to my craft reminded me that nurturing my own creativity is just as important as the care I give to those around me.
