Art is not a luxury; it is a necessity. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a pen and paper in my hand. Given the choice, I chose doodling over any other childhood activity. I grew up in a military family, and I am the middle child of four girls. I have been faced with many challenges in my life, including a severe visual disability that resulted in the complete loss of one of my eyes. Art has played an integral role in my ability to cope with and overcome my disability. Over the years, I have witnessed many students experience similar benefits. Creating a space for them to let their creativity blossom sets my soul on fire. In hopes of filling the world with accessible art projects Artsy Partsy is entering the wholesale world as Artsy Daisy.
