Margie grew up in Cambridge, MA right outside of Harvard Square. As far as she can remember she has had a passion for drawing, painting and creating which began at a young age. She found her creative outlet growing up in an area where she was surrounded by the arts and wonderful teachers. She now resides in a small suburban town where she paints full time and continues to be involved in the art community. Margie paints primarily in watercolor. She loves how the transparency of watercolors underlying qualities which makes watercolor painting so beautiful. She develops a finished piece by glazing, adding watercolor paint layer by layer to achieve her lights to dark.Her love of color and light speaks through her artwork and the greatest accomplishment and compliment she can receive is that her work brings joy to others. Margie has a passion painting architecture, animals and flowers. She creates art for the love it brings to her and others. Margie is happy to share her designs on product of her timeless artwork.
