Rani & Co is not just any jewellery brand. Founded by Ramona Gohil, a passionate female entrepreneur who believes that jewellery is a female’s armour. Even at a young age Ramona quickly realised how undervalued women are within society after experiencing a number of sexual harassment incidents. Born creative and determined to change perception as well as support, and celebrate women, Ramona decided to launch the stunning fashion jewellery brand Rani & Co. The brands’ strong social media following and brand message has landed PR features in over 10 reputable magazines, such as Stylist, OK!, Daily Mail, Cosmopolitan, The Times and more. Rani & Co. was also a finalist for Retail Jeweller’s ‘Emerging Jewellery Brand of the Year’ 2022. The business has experienced growth mainly through social media, particularly TikTok. During the pandemic TikTok became extremely popular, Rani & Co utilised the platform by posting videos consistently. One video went viral and reached 1.2 million views, following this the business rapidly grew. TikTok, and Instagram Reels, are an integral part of the brands marketing strategy, and have become an incredible tool for building relationships with customers.
