In 1969, J.A.E. Douglas Rodrigo established Industrial Exports Co. in Sri Lanka, with the purpose of establishing varied commodities trades between mostly Sri Lankan and Indian businesses. Industrial Exports Co. has over 40 years trajectory of business and partnerships reaching throughout South East Asia, and venturing as far out as South Korea and Japan. MK Enterprises Sri Lanka is a continuation of this much beloved family business which is under new management and rebranded by second generation businessmen, Mitchell Rodrigo and Krishan Rodrigo. MK Enterprises USA and MK Enterprises Sri Lanka seek out new ventures with American and other global partners.
