About Bedside Glow

Hi! I am Dr. Nydia Dixon and together with my son, Princeton, we created Bedside Glow Chakra Candles. As a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, I innately have a desire to help improve the health of others. Along with this, I have always had a strong affinity for beautiful scents and because of this, I’ve always purchased a variety of candles. After having my son, I continued to burn candles daily. As a first-time mom, I would sleep in close quarters with my son and light a candle next to the bedside. The glow of the candle soothed him at night and helped him sleep throughout the night. From this experience, the name ‘Bedside GLOW’ was inspired. Being an Eastern Medicine Doctor has had a huge influence on my desire to begin the Bedside Glow Chakra Candle line. Using the knowledge I attained from school, I created fragrances that are not only aromatically pleasing but also provide therapeutic benefits. In the Bedside Glow Chakra candle line you will find our signature collection which consists of the Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown chakras. We also release 2 seasonal scents per season that also align your chakras. My hope is that you enjoy the fruits of my labor of love as much as I love creating them. Read their story
