Welcome to the workshop of Stéphanie, “French Gnome Maker” All creations are made in a “slow made” spirit, in praise of slowness. She creates gnomes out of fabric, decorative items out of textiles, and recyclable material. They are unique pieces, steeped in magic, inspired by nature, the forest, the Earth. Gnomes have recently appeared in my life. To recycle old socks and leftover fabrics, I wanted to make a gnome. After the first one, I couldn't stop. I found the activity so enjoyable. That moment when I put the hat on her little wooden nose, this little character comes to life.. So my collections went one after the other and the rest... Having a gnome at home brings good luck!! It brings life to your home and provides kindness and joy to the home for everyone who lives there. Very common in Anglo-Saxon countries, gnomes are an original gift to give to those you love, for any occasion, for any celebration. “A home is where a gnome is”: A house is where a gnome is.
