About Sälka
Sälka is named after a mountain hut in Sweden where I found the inspiration to create lightweight pouches & supplies for fellow artists. After hiking 300 miles through the Arctic Circle while painting en plein air, I found myself wanting a better way to carry and organize my art supplies. Something that was lightweight and water-resistant. So I created Sälka to help other artists have better designed bags, pouches, and supplies whether they’re backpacking in the mountains or creating at home in their studio.
