About Mended Heart Glass

"She gave God the broken pieces of her life and He made something beautiful out of them!" This is the one thing that drives us each and every day! We happened to find each other at a time when we weren't sure what God had in mind for us. Like many of you, life had delivered us some pretty big changes and though we were making the best of it, we felt like broken and discarded people individually. At the time, we were exploring mixed media and stained glass art independently and when we met, our art AND our lives magically mended together. Two broken pieces, individually beautiful and strong, but coming together and becoming stronger with a new purpose and a new beginning. At some point in our journey, we discovered that the metaphor we used every day for creating our art, was also the metaphor for our lives. Taking broken pieces and mending them, giving them purpose, and creating something even more beautiful than before - as if breaking them in the first place was the plan all along. To make things even more amazing, we discovered that our story and our metaphor touched other people, helping them deal with grief, abuse, and other types of pain. And, from that moment on, we knew Mended Heart was actually mending hearts. We were more confident than ever that God had found us our path and we are blessed and grateful to be here living this creative life together, helping people heal when they need it, but most of all, just spreading the joy that comes from feeding your soul.Read their story
