"evil llama and friends" is a quirky and witty stationery and gift-goods company, based in Toronto, Canada. made of a group of snarky cartoon animals, each with a backstory of their own, our mandate is to show that it is ok to not be ok all the time. life throws us curveballs, so why not throw them right back, preferably with glitter and sarcasm. if you are looking for something cute, but with an edge, you’ve come to the right place! founded during the global pandemic, Evil Llama and Friends was born as a creative outlet to cope with the anxiety and uncertainty of the time (remember those days?). drawing from a decade of experience in retail as a gallery director, and a background in fine arts, I began by turning my sketchbook doodles into professionally designed cards, pins, and other giftable goods. every design starts as a hand-drawn image, then gets scanned, digitally finessed, and occasionally yelled at by a cartoon llama. my inspirations come from observing absurd animal behaviour through my travels to the wildest, most remote places on earth such as Antarctica and the Amazon. whether you're here for the sass, the feels, or the dangerously relatable resentment cat, we're glad you stopped by. questions? ideas? send a carrier pigeon (or just message us). we are 100% evil | 100% hand-drawn
