About BEADS CORNER

A hobby that, eventually, turned into profession in 2006. I used to handmade colorful beaded jewelry for friends and family since childhood. In 2006, I started marketing my creations online and BeadsCorner was born as a business. Then, very soon I learned that to be successful online, we needed much larger collection and low prices which was not possible with one person team alone. Beadwork has a very old history in India dating back millennia. Originally being from India, I visited India and developed a network of artisans, mostly women, who knew how to make jewelry using small Czech glass beads. Now over 200+ women are connected with BeadsCorner. These women are anywhere between 18-40 years old with passion for beading. They make beaded jewelry in their free time at their homes. For many of them it is a great time pass activity that they love doing and at the same time, it generates extra income. Read their story
