Founded in 2009 by Artist-Illustrator J.Heloise (a former fashion designer-illustrator with J.Crew, among other brands), the company has sold over 5,000 greeting cards to date. J.Heloise is headquartered in Seattle WA, with a mission to serve the public through good art & design -- and to remain focused on sustainability. All greeting cards are packaged in eco-friendly plant-based plastic sleeves. Company practices include shipping in recycled packaging & producing locally (always made in the U.S.A). Each card is blank inside so you can write your own story... Bestselling cards include: Flowers in a Ball Jar, Heart, Happy Birthday, Ice Cream, the Animals series, Dance, Dandelion, & Hiii. As well as the new & popular Mt. Rainier. The Artist's process begins with original art, painted by hand using her own blend of techniques developed over 20 years as a painter. Original works are created in watercolor/gouache & ink on watercolor paper..then are scanned & meticulously edited by the Artist to match the originals. Cards are printed in small batches. Many new pieces - including the "Animals" collection - emerged by customer request at Artist markets. "Art is a source of wisdom and joy for those who step into its magic," says Heloise.
