About Bon Bon

Bon Bon boxes contain jewels handcrafted in Italy with buttons from private collections or from ancient button factories. The project stems from the desire to revive details of the past in a modern key while fully respecting the elegance of an accessory that dates back to the oldest cultural tradition of costume, craftsmanship and fashion: the button. The packaging is designed to highlight the care with which such precious accessories were and are made, to enclose and complete a refined, gentle and unexpected gift. The reinterpretation in a modern key is a tribute and a declaration of love to Italian craftsmanship. The collection is divided into two parts: a simpler one with buttons mounted on gold-plated brass bases and a more precious one with buttons mounted on gold-plated silver. Some are made with fabrics chosen from private collections and ancient ateliers. The search for the button is the basis of the project, to which respectful care is dedicated. Read their story
