My name is Katy. I am 35 years old and live in SW Pennsylvania. I am married to the love of my life. We share our home with super loving and rambunctious for his age dog. I started this business in 2015 in a pretty unconventional way, but it has turned into something that I truly love doing. From 2015 to 2019, I did this as a side hustle. I worked in the evenings and on weekends and, to be completely honest, I never gave it my 100% and it showed. The products were OKAY but they weren’t anything I ever felt proud of. I took a year long hiatus. The business was becoming a constant source of anxiety and stress. I was certain I’d never return to g&g and then the pandemic happened. While many were (and still are) struggling with Covid and how it has changed the world, I was blessed with an opportunity and I jumped on it. So in June 2020, I left my full-time job in criminal defense and I started working for myself. Allowing myself to have the time I needed to really flesh out ideas and scent blends has really improved and amplified the quality of my products. Read their story
