Polk Salad Abbie was born in the middle of the pandemic. Abbie has been an artist for nearly a decade now, but only realized two years ago that she could find practical uses for her art, and how to get it in more people's hands. "Polk Salad Abbie" is a play on the song "Polk Salad Annie," made famous by Elvis. The lyrics and groove personify the funky side of the South that Abbie hopes is emulated through her illustrations. Quirky, colorful, and nostalgic imagery are what characterize Polk Salad Abbie.
