About Pressed

Pressed is a Midwest-based handcrafted jewelry, apparel, and letterpress brand. Our products are inspired by words that speak truth to the soul, and each item is made by our own hands in our studio + store in Spencer, Iowa. From the beginning, we have put the deepest thought and care into creating products that are not only beautiful and made by human hands, but that are also rich in meaning. Our brand started with 8 necklaces at our local farmer's market in 2015. We chose the name “Pressed” because it spoke to the art forms used in making the jewelry (and now apparel and greeting cards). Each piece is hand-pressed in some way, and each one holds a reminder to be "pressed" on your heart and carried with you on your journey. We’re on a mission to create products that tell stories, both to ourselves and to those around us. Some of our items are created to help anchor your heart and mind in a difficult time, while others are designed to remind you of the blessings of home and family. We try to avoid cheap clichés, and instead root our designs in deeper truths. Our heart is to share messages with real value for the human soul, and to spread genuine light to the world around us.Read their story
