He designs and develops products that are equal parts beautiful, functional, and cost-efficient. Carter has received numerous accolades for his work, including the 2003 Gourmet Gold Award, 2004 Good Design Award, 2009 Housewares Design Award for "Best of the Best," the 2009 Housewares Design Award for "Best in Show," the 2013 Housewares Design Award for "Best in Category”, two Red Dot Design Awards in 2016, a 2017, a 2018, two additional Red Dots in 2022, one in 2023, and one in 2024. Named to Esquire Magazine's "Top 25 Best Dressed Real Men" list and Southern Livings “75 Most Stylish Southerners” does not have anything to do with his product design abilities, but it says something about his sense of style. Carter McGuyer holds 57 patents and has brought more than 750+ products successfully to market, equating to over 1 billion in sales for his clients.
