About Aesthete Rising

Hi, we are Emily (she/her) and Kylie (she/her), a two-person team running this business out of our studio in the heart of Black Mountain, NC. Aesthete Rising began as an endeavor in 2018 to help heal depression, loneliness, and find personal joy. It's become so much more than that. Aesthete Rising is the culmination of our shared experiences, our synergistic vision and represents a promising new chapter - a chapter you can always find within yourself everyday - every moment. Aesthete (pronounced "es - theet") refers to a person with a deep appreciation for art and beauty. Not only does it speak to both of us as individuals, but is also a reflection of YOU, our friends and customers who have made this business possible. We chose "rising" to represent hopefulness and to incorporate the natural cycle of the sun. Aesthete Rising, summarized, represents ushering in new eras, new perspectives, new appreciation and acknowledging that we each have a chance within every new day to find something worth living for. Our core values are authenticity, creativity, inclusivity, kindness, and spreading little moments of joy wherever we can and however we can. Whether it be by putting on your favorite pair of earrings or by participating in a fundraising event for others, we want you to be a part of our story by hearing, feeling, and knowing yours.
