I lost my beloved father towards the end of 2018. Dealing with the anxiety was very difficult. So I started searching for a hobby, something that would keep me busy around the house and keep my mind off the pain and stress of losing my dad. I came across soapmaking, took some classes, and did a lot of research. I soon fell in love with it. I started making soap and smiling again. I liked how my natural handmade soap made my skin feel. I had problematic skin but the soap helped tremendously. So I asked myself: Why go back to commercial soap? I could not believe I was handcrafting those beautiful soaps with such wonderful skin-loving properties. My family loved it too. I gave some to a friend and she said it literally cleared a rash on her shoulder after just two uses. "Awesome!'', I said to her. From that moment I started thinking seriously about business. Yes, I turned my hobby into a business: KAMAN HANDCRAFTED. My goal is to always use the best natural ingredients to make soaps for my customers. I have sensitive skin so I always keep customers with sensitive skin in mind. Today I'm so happy I named one of my soaps after Dad: Gilbert. Gilbert is a plain and simple soap.
