About Wool Haus

Summer visits to her Oma’s house introduced Kirsten to handwork at an early age. She learned how to make wool felt ornaments at her beloved local quilt shop, Patches and Stitches in Huntsville, Alabama. She soon began designing her own ornament patterns and needle minders. Sharing beauty and joy with people is one of the motivating principles behind her shop, Wool Haus. Attending quilt shows around the country, she's been able to connect with lots of people, sharing her joy with high quality ornaments and stitching supplies. Kirsten is a U.S. Army veteran and lives in Huntsville, Alabama with her husband, three sons and two dogs.Read their story
