About Ribbonworks Design Studio

Ribbonworks Design Studio began in Anchorage, Alaska in 1993 with handmade ribbon dog collars. I've been collecting trims & creating with them ever since. It continues to be a true love affair but the reality is it's more of an addiction. Now located in Spokane, Washington, I continue to design jacquard ribbons as well as search to find interesting & unique ribbons for my projects. If it can be made using a ribbon then I believe I've made it. Dog collars, bookmarks, belts, guitar straps, suspenders, purse straps, hat bands, barrette holders, ornaments, ribbon flowers, home decorating projects, curtains, bedding, baby items, pet products, horse halters, doll clothing/accessories, wedding, renaissance & medieval costumes, chess boards, quilts, wall hangings, jewelry, ornaments, apparel wear, jackets and coats (did I leave anything out?) I love working with this type of embellishment - it has such a rich history and endless possibilities. With an inventory of over 1000 ribbons used in making just the key fobs, please let me know if there’s a specific design you are interested in and I will endeavor to help. Matching charms to the ribbon is an added plus and I believe they make my key fobs special & fun. NOTE: Orders from Alaska receive an Alaska state charm – as always!Read their story
