AKIBE means respect in Fang, a local Gabonese Dialect. My name is Claire. I am cosmetologist for 15 years. After a nice career for big brands in France and in Dubai, I decided to move to Gabon with my family. There I felt the urge to create a brand that meets my deep values : - respect for the nature with natural, eco-friendly products - respect for humans with and ethical slow production - respect for consumers with a maximum of transparency and clean products AKIBE is manufactured in Gabon, Africa supporting local women empowerment. We only use natural and clean ingrédients, sourced locally as much as possible. We aim to offer you a fully immersive experience from Africa. Design, names and scents will make you travel with me in Gabon and know a bit more about this beautiful and preserved country.
