HoneyPot Scrubs started as a small idea and a dream of being an entrepreneur. My whole life I wanted to be my own boss but I could not find the exact idea of what I wanted to pursue. After working numerous jobs including the military, I was working at a resort and one of my coworkers suggested we make salt scrubs. I knew right then that this was the product that I was looking for. So, the idea was to start with one product of salt scrubs, with fewer and pure ingredients that, I feel, are the best ones for skin care. I take great pride in having no alcohol or harsh chemicals in my products. HoneyPot Scrubs is ecofriendly, right down to our spoons that are compostable. I started making my products in May of 2019 and since then I have added sugar scrubs, face/body cream, lotion, body milk and beard oil to my line of products. Fun fact about Epsom salt: In the summer of 1618 Henry Wicker, a local cowherd, walked across Epsom Common, in England, he came across a pool of water from which his thirsty cattle refused to drink. The water was bitter and on evaporation yielded a salt which had a remarkable effect: it was a laxative. This became the famous Epsom's salts and treatment for constipation for the next 350 years.Read their story
