About Santiago Sebastian Leathers

In my twenties, I served in the US Peace Corps in a tiny country in South America called Paraguay. I fell in love with the culture, the people and the handicrafts. Along the way, I married a native, met a dear friend from Paraguay, and we vowed to work together to sell the rich, beautiful Paraguayan leather products one day. CoVid summer 2020 kicked off that venture and we founded Santiago Sebastian Leathers. Our company produces genuine leather bags, purses, and small leather goods which have been HAND MADE ONE AT A TIME by three generations of Paraguayan leather ARTISANS. Our leather quality is Exceptional and Beautiful. We source our hides from long-standing relationship farms in Argentina. We finish them by only using sustainable CHEMICAL-FREE tanning methods. Each finished piece is coated in beeswax to condition and protect it and ensure lasting quality.
