ABOUT: Art of the Tile by The Tile and Iron Studio We have been creating beautiful Art Tiles for the home and garden for over twenty years. Located in St. Albert, Alberta, we are an artisan studio, not a manufacturing facility. All of our products are developed and hand crafted here in our modern design center and garden studio. We are proud to offer Art Tiles featuring my own artist original artwork. The earliest tiles we made were created using the age old tile making technique known as Cuerda Seca. Today our product line has grown to feature a wide range of fine quality art tiles and coordinating products. Each and every piece we create is unique. Subtle variations in colour, texture and details add to the inherent beauty of each tile. The kiln fired (2,000 degrees) high quality porcelain tiles can be left outdoors year round in any climate. Suitable for indoor or outdoor display, these exquisite kiln fired art tiles are 100% UV resistant. We use state-of-the-art processes to ensure the fine quality will be maintained year after year. Our Vintage Collection features artist original pen and ink drawings artfully transformed into enduring tile artworks. The ever expanding product line includes one-of-a- kind pieces featuring imagery, either alone or combined with wording. We are also pleased to offer extensive customization options. Unique and durable, our custom made fine art tile pieces are truly designed to last a lifetime. The beauty is in the details.
