About Ame González Papeterie

I design all my products by hand with paint, giving them a unique quality in the depth of the colour and the design. I enjoy the process very much, and I hope the person who will have my designs will share that same joy. Living in a foreign country and facing daily difficulties in speaking proper German, I find symbols an incredible way to communicate. As designers, non-written language forces us to extract the essence of what we want to communicate, and I love the challenge. That's why you won't find any written messages in my stationery, only symbols and numbers. All my products are carefully printed CO-neutral, and I use high-quality recycled and mix-certified papers. For some processes, like bookbinding, I work with USE gGmbH, an organization that gives work opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged people in Berlin.Read their story
