J.Adams was originally founded in 2007 as the party girl's go-to brand for affordable shoes. In recent years, we've come under new ownership and have a new vision in mind: to leverage our production resources to create something cool and a bit more grown up, because...hey, we can't all be 22 forever. We’re designers who believe the women's footwear industry is broken, and we’re redefining the functionality of women’s footwear from within — where it matters most. There is a baseline level of quality and comfort required for shoes to be functional, but the fashion-conscious shopper doesn’t necessarily want to sacrifice form for the sake of function. Even the most expensive, well-made pair of shoes will need to be replaced over time due to inevitable wear and tear. So, when it comes to buying shoes, there’s this inherent tension that exists between wanting to be practical but also wanting to have fun. Keeping that in mind, everything we do here at J.Adams is focused on trying to solve the shopper's paradox of wanting something that is not only stylish, but also functional and affordable. We do that by providing well-made shoes for both everyday and special occasions that are still priced within reach.
