About Charlotte Holt Art

Hello! My name i s Charlotte Holt. I fell in love with printmaking while studying art in college and haven't looked back. I run a small business making beautifully simple but intricate colorful hand printed block prints and cards. My work has always been a point of joy and connection for me. I think about nourishment and community and connection and place. The beauty of our hands and what we create with them, the mark of the maker. In my work I strive t o encapsulate the tenderness of the human experience and our relationship to the natural world. All my work is original, drawn and carved from moments from my life that I photograph, memories or m y imagination. I primarily hand carve and print my cards and prints from battleship grey linoleum blocks that I print on m y antique printing press that lives in my aunts 100 year old barn right outside of Philadelphia.
