The Dutch Arctic Blue Omega-3 products (liquid or capsule) are plant-based (based on algae oil) or made from the filet-cut residues of wild salmon, wild pollock or wild cod. In addition to the supermarket fillet, one cod provides as much as 1 bottle (150 ml) of oil or 250 capsules. While entire shipments of sardines and anchovies go through the meat grinder for a lot of fish oil, Arctic Blue fish oil therefore doesn't catch any extra fish. You have the guarantee that we will stay away from eating dolphins, seabirds, sea lions and whales. And the guarantee that there are no adverse effects on the oceans, the environment and the local population.
