The Dutch Arctic Blue Omega-3 products (liquid or capsule) are plant-based (based on algae oil) or made from the filet-cut residues of wild salmon, wild pollock or wild cod. In addition to the supermarket fillet, one cod provides as much as 1 bottle (150 ml) of oil or 250 capsules. While entire shipments of sardines and anchovies go through the meat grinder for a lot of fish oil, Arctic Blue fish oil therefore doesn't catch any extra fish.
