OUR STORY Welcome to Fittem, a children's clothing brand that embodies more than just a name. It encapsulates a journey of courage, a mission of empowerment, and a promise of freedom, all stitched into clothing that fits well - a perfect fit item, or "Fittem". Our story begins in North Korea, where I experienced firsthand the scarcity of abundance, including clothing. More than the physical discomfort, the lack of freedom to express ourselves through fashion was a painful reality. We dared not wear clothes with English letters or jeans, for fear of punishment and ridicule. This longing for freedom of expression is what drove me to risk my life and escape. Today, I revel in the liberty that allows me to design and choose the clothes I wear. My childhood yearning for freedom has been transformed into something tangible and beautiful: the clothes I create. Each garment is not merely an article of clothing, but a powerful testament to the human spirit, a manifestation of our deepest desires for self-expression and creativity. "Fittem" is a name imbued with profound significance. "Fit" symbolizes the perfect fit that we strive for in each piece of clothing we create, ensuring comfort and style for every child. "Item" represents the individuality of each piece, each one a unique expression of our journey towards freedom and the care, quality, and pride that goes into our work.
