Advance Wildlife Education was founded by Che Frausto, a dedicated wildlife biologist and talented illustrator based on the island of Maui, Hawai′i. In the year 2016, inspiration struck him during a pivotal moment while leading an outreach event at a local endangered seabird colony of wedge-tailed shearwaters. People were not just eager to learn more about them; but had a desire to make a difference. He realized people wanted to help but cannot protect what they do not know exists. This realization served as the purpose of his mission. He combined his passions for wildlife and art to form a bridge between the community and conservation non-profits by creating wildlife educational coloring books, stickers and temporary tattoos.
