Hey, I’m Lucy, but you can call me Lu. I’m a colour loving misfit living by the sea. Creating art from my anxious mind and whimsical soul; hoping to bring some colour to a world that can often seem grey. I started illustrating [for the first time in well over a decade] in late 2020 as part of my recovery from a nervous breakdown. Picking up a pencil and jumping in to the sea helped soothe my soul and calm my busy mind. Creating colourful, whimsical illustrations with retro flare, from my little box room in Newquay… or with my toes buried in the sand at the beach. Inspired by connection to nature, wild women, sea swimming, mental health, empowerment and of course, my beloved home county of Cornwall. I adore this work. This simple life of colouring my feelings. I work hard to ensure the highest quality. Lavishing care and attention on each print, every order, in the hopes you will love it as much as I loved making it for you and your customers.
