Cash Casia, founder and creator of ButterFaye, is a natural medicine practitioner who was previously an international fashion model and actress. Cash began making soaps on her family farm while sheltering in place in 2020. Soon her family, friends, neighbors, clients and others became interested in her soaps, skin care products and herbal remedies which are all handmade with healing potential and general wellness in mind. ButterFaye’s nomenclature was created by Cash’s young daughters in 2016 - who named their farm’s garden for its indigenous butterflies and garden fairy inhabitants. When the local farmer’s markets opened back up in 2021, Cash began to sell the new product line there. Since then, the product line has grown and is now sold on line, and niche retail stores. However, all products are still handmade in small batches. ButterFaye is more than an aesthetically beautiful, natural, and USDA organically sourced product line. It’s a culture – a lifestyle. We believe in green, sustainable living that supports our health, community and local farmers. ButterFaye stands for an organic, natural and uplifting lifestyle that promotes wellness - not only for our bodies, but in our communities by helping others, promoting local farmers, and bringing our community together. ButterFaye endeavors to bestow and promote wellness and beauty for our families, tribe, communities, habitat and environment - bringing self- care to a whole new level.
