Created in 2019, Maison Aimard is the new chapter in a story that I passionately embroider. Graduated with a CAP and a BMA, I worked in renowned workshops that transmitted to me the French requirement of this craft. By making sure to remain curious as well as open to the new processes of embroidery and by participating in its necessary transformation, I wish today to perpetuate the tradition of art embroidery.Combining modernity and ancestral gestures is an essential but profoundly enriching challenge. Using and deriving techniques, transforming materials and working with light are all reflections that I address in my work: know-how, rigor and precision are the key words.
