KONOS started in December 2018, when I rescued my first dog, an American Staffy mix named Kono, from a shelter in Pomona, CA. Training together deepened our bond in ways I never expected, and that experience led me to launch KONOS in 2020, pivoting in 2023 to designing and hand-making rolled BioThane dog gear. Our core mission is to empower dog owners to build deeper relationships with their dogs, providing high-quality dog training gear and the resources they need to help their dogs live their best lives. KONOS is an AAPI woman-owned small business, and we're building an inclusive community where dog owners of all experience levels can connect, learn, and grow alongside their dogs. Our rolled BioThane leash collection includes slip leads, long lines, and everyday leashes, including our signature Trainer Slip Lead with a custom locking stopper, trusted and loved by professional dog trainers and dog people for its durability and secure hold.
